Feedwater microbiological and chemistry water analysis offerings continue to grow.
Feedwater has proudly positioned itself as the all in one water treatment company carrying the complete range of products and services to cover the entirety of our customers’ water treatment requirements. This has included having in-house chemistry and microbiological laboratories which process 10,000s of water samples for analysis every year.
Demand for water testing has only grown in the last few years, this has been fuelled by the growth of Feedwater’s customer base and the success of internet marketing including the web shop. Having access to a large online market looking for a variety of microbiological or chemical water analysis reports, the company found itself fielding a significant increase in requests for water analysis packages and parameters that didn’t fit into current offerings.
Taking the most frequent requests the labs developed new packages that included parameters and interpretations to cover specific problems that customers needed to answer. In some cases this meant the chemists and biologists researching and learning about new applications and processes so as to be in the position to offer the right interpretation – essentially what the results mean when it comes to a particular situation.
In the micro lab this included new packages that gave complete water quality results for:
Bathing Water Quality (lakes and costal waters).
The chemistry lab had a greater task on its hands having hundreds of chemical parameters that could potentially be asked for.
The chemistry lab team came up with a range of new packages to cover the majority of requirements with the addition of an innovative and intuitive pick and mix product where customers could choose their own parameters and build their own analysis. New off the shelf analysis packages included:
Chemical Potability (drinking water) – Identifying taste or taint or potential for scale or corrosion issues.
Water Chemistry Comparison & Leak Analysis – These products could be used to figure out if two samples came from the same source, the leak analysis was developed to identify the likely source of a leak in properties.
Potable Metals Analysis – Finding out if private water supplies fit into the DWI limits.
Waste Water Metals – This product reports on metals which may have discharge limits.
All of these analysis products are available on the Feedwater web shop. They include a sample kit and a pre-paid return package to return the sample to the labs for analysis. Results will be issued in a certificate or report upon completion.
